Maths course outdoors

On the 4th Dec Our TY group went to Rathbeggan lakes for a maths trail. The trail was a bit of revision for us after the Junior cert if we remembered much. To be honest i liked it it was outside and cold but i liked it was a fun experience for me because it was good revision for me but i don't no about everyone else. We had maths challenges to do, for each challenge we had 20mins to do it, they where hard but we got them at the end, they where really challenging questions and it took a while to answer them think we took over 20mins but it was all grand because we got it in the end. over all my group done 4 challenges.

After the maths trail we went to Blanchetown shopping center to have some lunch. I  had Mc Donalds  had a really nice food. We walked around the shopping center  for a few and we took afew pictures at the center of the Christmas things in the center it was a really good day enjoyed it

On the 21st November are TY group went to city west hotel for are school across borders projects. We where with 3 different schools there, mostly girls where with us and a few lads but that was alright. Three girls from are presented are project that are class have done they where really brave and they done a good job doing it to presenting it to all them schools. there was people there from a drama place and they had a play for us. the play was amazing loved it. We went for lunch and we had really nice chicken and chips there where so nice loved the food and the place where we ate was really posh and clean it was amazing. We took a few pictures too. had an amazing day out with my TY group :).

Fun Walk whaaa

Last Friday we had a fun walk. the fun walk is a way to stop bulling in the school. the whole school had to make up a dance to go with there theme and with are color. first years where pink, second years where purple, third years where green, TY(us) where yellow, 5th years where blue and 6th years where black and white. Since im in TY  we where yellow so where where minions from the movie Despicable me and there yellow and are teacher Mrs Mc M dressed up as Gru. we danced to Spice Girls Wanna Be. i had so much fun making up the dance and dancing in front of the whole school it was an amazing day

Yes i will wear my seat belt from now on :S

On Tuesday the 8th October all TY's had a talk about road safety as it was road safety week. A man came into are school and he talked to us about being safe on the and what are the main course that kill people on the roads. The talk was really sad but he had to no all these things for when where driving when where older. He told us about the main killers of the road which they where mobile phones, no seat belts, drink driving and speeding  they are where the main killers. At the end we got to to do a theory test, to pass it its 35/40 but i got 27/40 ah well it was the first time anyways better luck next time :)

And the journey begins AHHH

On the 16th and the 17th of September, everyone in TY went to Carlingford. the night before i had to pack my bags and i didn't want to go because ill miss my family and friends but my ma payed the money so i had no chose i had to still go. On the Monday we where leaving, I woke up at 06:15am, i had to get up and get ready to leave. I walked to the bridge and i see my friend and it was so dark, we walked to are meeting point, esso station. when we got there we seen everyone in are year where there with there big bags waiting for the bus to leave.

we got to Carlingford at around 09:00am. we got are rooms and we where put into are groups and we where ready for are games for the day. we went out on to a field and there was lots of things to do there and they where all to do with team bonding. We went into have are lunch and it was amazing thought the food was going to be bad but it was really nice. At the afternoon we went laser tag. we got put into are groups and they showed us how to play then off we went. It was amazing i loved it so much. we walked up so many hills i was tired before we even started the laser tag. we went back for dinner and i didn't like it that much so i didn't eat it. at night we went to play night games we where bland folded in the forest and we had to find are way back to the beginning. the view from where we where was amazing. I would love to go back there for a week if i could really enjoyed myself.

The Day Has Come :D

On Wednesday the 11th September i got my junior cert results. I was really scared to get my results I was really nervous cause I thought i have done bad on my junior cert but when I opened my envelope I was really happy with myself. I was happy with what I have got. That day I went home and showed my parents and they where really happy with my results. A few hours after 2 of my friends come over and they came to get ready for mantra. We got ready and a few hours later my other friend came over. We where jamming hard music on loud had a little party in my room and took lots of pictures before we left. The night was amazing i really enjoyed myself we danced the night away.

The next day we had to go into school i was really tired i fall asleep in like all my classes i was really tired.

We where only in for like half of the day then we went off to or history trip to castletown, i have been to castletown before and i couldn't remember half of the things from last time so it was nice to go again. the day was amazing i learned a lot from the history trip it was really interesting. at the end of are trip we took a picture of the whole TY group it was and amazing day would go again if i could :)

TY 2013-2014 

Here We Go Again

Coming into the first week of TY I was a bit anxious to see who was in my class, i thought i was going to be on my own cause most of my friends where going into 5th year and i wanted to be with them, but at the end i was put with 3 of my good friends. so far TY it alright but ive got a few projects to do already and its a bit stressful and i haven't even started yet :/.

In two weeks time are TY group are going to carlingford adventure park and that should be good. we get to spent more time together as a TY and get to know each other even more and make new friends. this trip is a time to bond with everyone and get to know each other much better.

on the first Wednesday we had three workshops. we had one on positive party, second one was how to live life with out limits, and the third one we all learned how to give massages and we got massages too. All the work shops where good but the second one kinda bored me i wasn't really into it.  My favorite one was the positive parties  that one was really fun because we played lots of games and got lots of sweets nom!
